Amoklauf in Blacksburg

We as a society must look at ourselves, and others,
and how we treat each other.
In nearly all the school shootings we've had,
the aggressor has been someone who has been bullied,
or looked down upon, or not acknowledged.
This is what causes these people to go into isolation,
and become loners.
This is where they're thoughts to themselves
only replay the ways they are treated, and hurt.
This is what drives them to want to seek revenge,
and try to give themselves power. It's a final release and vindication.

How do we stop this from happening in the future?
It's not about gun control.
It's about how we treat our neighbors and ourselves.
If you're hurt, speak out, and tell someone.
If you see someone speaking out, listen, and give them love.
Be their friend.
The sooner we stop letting our ego try
to push people down to make ourselves look better,
the sooner these people will open up,
and feel like they are actually worth something.
